Dr. Doug Altman was my mentor and one of the most influential minds to contribute to the field of evidence-based practice. He died in 2018 at the age of 70. The Douglas G. Altman Scholarship is named to commemorate his life and work, which changed the face of health research and to remind us that one person can and did make a difference.

Applications to the scholarship are open for the February 2019 session. Recipients are selected on the criterion of their potential to create change in their world through their work.
